The Team

Development and Technology

Siôn studied for 4 years at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, in the United Kingdom, reading Computer Science.

Siôn began his employment carrier at ScottishPower as a Software Engineer, before undertaking roles in Unix Administration.

After 4 years he moved to London to work for Bomb Productions. This is a web design company which, at that time, had as their main client Channel 4, one of the UK's mainstream TV channels. His roles there were to stabilise Channel 4's Solaris web servers, which ran the Channel 4 web site. At the time, the Channel 4 servers were experiencing frequent service failures, and as a large media company they were anxious to resolve this. Once this was successfully achieved, Siôn became involved in providing support to other production companies who were offering interactive web services to the Channel 4 web site.

The work Sion did for Channel 4 should not be understated. In reality, Sion was running the Channel 4 web site for a number of years.

Several Unix and Solaris administrator jobs followed, before Siôn went on to freelancing work, offering consultancy to various large clients implementing secure web shopping cart and payment systems.

Siôn spent the final 2 years of his UK based career as an Application Support Manager for British Telecom IT department.

Siôn then moved to Spain to join his brother Dyan, and combine their expertise in setting up red-enet multimedia solutions S.L., here on the Costa del Sol.

Brian studied for 4 years at the University of Glasgow, in the United Kingdom, reading Mathematics and Computer Science. After graduating he worked for Hewlett Packard creating the software that runs mobile phone networks.

Following a spell at Fronde, a large New Zealand IT Consultant company, he spent two years at Qantas Airways, creating Qantas' web sites and industry and frequent flyer portals.

Subsequently, prior to joining red-enet multimedia solutions S.L., Brian worked at ActiveSky, creating web mobile phone applications that broadcast games for the NFL and MLB in the United States, and the Japanese Baseball league games.

Design

Helen is a qualified graphic designer with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design.

It is Helen's artistic flair which provides the company with it's creative designs for both web and print applications.

After graduating, she worked for SEL Promotions in Reading, UK, creating designs for presentations, web sites and printed literature for some of the big names in the Thames Valley region such as Mars, Walkers and Yell.co.uk.

After 4 years, Helen began freelancing for graphic design and production companies in and around the Berkshire area, before joining red-enet multimedia solutions S.L.

Sales & Marketing

Dyan studied for 4 years at the University of the West of England, Bristol, in the United Kingdom, reading Manufacturing Systems Engineering.

After graduating, Dyan worked for BP Chemicals, Sony, Hyder and Microsoft.

His roles at BP Chemicals and Sony were to increase productivity of the manufacturing processes by use of computer systems.

During his time at Hyder, he was tasked with implemeting a large scale Microsoft rollout of a control and change management system (Microsoft Systems Management Server). Subsequently Dyan was offered a job at Microsoft to work on support for large scale clients on this product. He stayed there for 5 years.

In 2004, Dyan left Microsoft to pursue some of his other interests in IT consultancy and web applications. Soon after, he started up the company red-enet in Estepona on the Costa del Sol, Spain. This then became red-enet multimedia solutions S.L. when he was joined by his brother, Sion.
